COMMAND UTILITY

Firmware Upgrades Instructions

Use these commands to update the firmware for GPS9, GPS8-4G, GPS8, GPS7 , GPS5, GPS4.5, GPS3, & GPS2, Units. Copy the appropriate URL and use it to initiate the firmware upgrade process.

Teltonika units firmware upgrades & configurations gets done via FotaWeb. Follow the link listed below (Only to be used by authorised personel)

Select the correct firmware URL for the unit.
Click the "Copy" button to copy the URL to your clipboard.
Paste the URL into your firmware update page to start the upgrade, the unit will notify you once the upgrade is complete.

Server Setup Instructions

These commands will change the connection setting to WebIQ, Make sure the correct Sim Card is installed before or after setting was done.

GPSTS Units needs to be restarted after the server setting was changed using "1234RESET", link isted below.
TELTONIKA Units auto restarts after server setting was changed.

Accelerometer Setup Instructions

These commands will configure the internal Accelerometer parameters.

Crash Detection.
Harsh Acceleration.
Harsh Braking.

Crash Detection - To query the current level

Crash Detection - To set level (The default value is 115 - Glevel= 7.188)

Crash Detection - To turn it off

Harsh Acceleration - To query the current level

Harsh Acceleration - To set level in mg (The defaault value is 4)

These commands configure engine alert settings for temperature, oil pressure, and fuel levels.

Use "Engine Temperature Alert" to set up temperature monitoring alerts.
Use "Oil Pressure Warning" to configure oil pressure monitoring.
Use "Low Fuel Alert" to set up fuel level notifications.
Copy the appropriate command and apply it to your system.

Canbus Engine Protection Instructions

These commands manage temperature monitoring and threshold settings for engine components.

Biometrics Instructions

These commands configure biometric fingerprint scanning for driver identification.

Set up the system for biometrics and select the appropriate scanner type.
Enable or disable the fingerprint scanner as needed.
Manage fingerprint database and configure scanning intervals.
Copy the appropriate command and apply it to your system.

Delete All Finger Prints (This will delete all the finger prints from the scanner & clear the memory)

Turn On Fscan (This forces the driver to scan his finger every 10 minutes)

Turn Off Fscan (This disables the 10 minute driver scan)

Key Tag Instructions

These commands configure key tag identification for driver authentication.

Set up the system for key tag identification.
Enable or disable key tag functionality as needed.
Configure recognition settings to allow only synced drivers or any driver.
Copy the appropriate command and apply it to your system.

How to Use the Hex to Decimal Converter
