Firmware Upgrades Instructions

Use these commands to update the firmware for GPS9, GPS8-4G, GPS8, GPS7 , GPS5, GPS4.5, GPS3, & GPS2, Units. Copy the appropriate URL and use it to initiate the firmware upgrade process.


Teltonika units firmware upgrades & configurations gets done via FotaWeb. Follow the link listed below (Only to be used by authorised personel)


  • Select the correct firmware URL for the unit.
  • Click the "Copy" button to copy the URL to your clipboard.
  • Paste the URL into your firmware update page to start the upgrade, the unit will notify you once the upgrade is complete.
Server Setup Instructions

These commands will change the connection setting to WebIQ, Make sure the correct Sim Card is installed before or after setting was done.

  • GPSTS Units needs to be restarted after the server setting was changed using "1234RESET", link isted below.
  • TELTONIKA Units auto restarts after server setting was changed.
Accelerometer Setup Instructions

These commands will configure the internal Accelerometer parameters.

  • Crash Detection.

Governing Setup Instructions

These commands will configure the Governing parameters.

  • Use "Low Fuel Alert" to set up fuel level notifications.
